‘Real reason Osinbajo’s name was excluded from Tinubu’s campaign council’

The exclusion of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo from the list of nominees into the APC presidential campaign council owes allegedly to his aversion for the Muslim-Muslim ticket favoured by his party

The APC had Friday released a 422-man list that excluded Osinbajo and Boss Mustapha, the secretary to the government of the federation.

Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the Abubakar Atiku campaign, Saturday tweeted that Osinbajo and Mustapha actually rejected to serve in the council.

“We salute the courage of Professor Osinbajo and Boss Mustapha for rejecting the MM ticket by asking to be left out of the campaign council of APC. Say no to religious politics. Nigerians would decide at the polls,” he tweeted.

Bwala’s claim prompted a release by the APC.
