Police urge victims to lodge complaints about arrested Lagos chef

Lagos Police Command has urged the victims of a man arrested for drugging his employers and stealing their valuables.

The suspect, Wilfred Amoussou, carries out his criminal activities by seeking to be employed by affluent citizens as a chef. But, having been employed, he would drug his employers and make away with their valuables.

According to Lagos police command’s spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin, Amoussou victims reside in highbrow affluent neighbourhoods.

He “would take up a job as cook/chef, heavily sedate his employers with Benzodiazepines and steal their valuables. He has done this to different victims, over years, in Ikoyi, Banana Island and Parkview.

“Some of his past victims have come forward to identify him. Have you been a victim? If yes, proceed to Ikoyi Police Division for further necessary action, ” Hundeyin instructed in a tweet.
