Police foil attempted ‘bomb attack’ beside barracks in LagosÂ

A report has emerged that the Lagos anti-bomb, on Wednesday, discovered an explosive device, dropped by the perimeter fence of the police barracks in Ikeja.

The police said they received a distress call that a strange man had parked by the roadside and quickly dropped a strange package by the perimeter fence of the police barracks, along the Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way. The alleged assailant reportedly zoomed off after carrying out his mission.

As per the report, police anti-bomb squad got to the scene and immediately halted moving vehicles. The police said explosive experts retrieved the object and took it away for detonation.
