Paul of ex-PSquare singing duo laments police extortion in Lagos

Paul Okoye of the defunct PSquare singing duo has lamented police extortion in Lagos State.

The Okoye twin, in his now deleted post to Instagram, said he was out to the club when he noticed multiple police checkpoints at such odd hours.

“For God’s sake, why are they (sic) traffic at 2-3am; barricades everywhere in Lagos Island. Police extortion everywhere with no shame,” said the Bank Alert singer.

He added the policemen rather chose to mount checkpoints along clubs and roads leading to houses of celebrities.
