Overspeeding Toyota car causes death of two children

A road accident caused by overspeeding Toyota Camry car has led to the deaths of two children. The incident happened at the Ewekoro axis of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway. Apart from the dead, five others sustained injuries.

As per a preliminary report from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the driver of the ill-fated bus had overloaded it with goods, too.

Akinwumi Fasakin, FRSC’s sector commander, urged drivers to apply caution on the road and desist from encumbering the vehicle with excessive goods and passengers. She condoled with bereaved families while wishing the injured persons quick recovery.
