Two presidential running mates, namely Ifeanyi Okowa and Yussuf Datti-Ahmed, have called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to cancel last Saturday poll.
Okowa, a sitting governor of oil rich Delta state, and Datti are running mates to Peoples Democratic Party’s flag bearer Abubakar Atiku and Peter Obi of Labour Party respectively.
The two opposition candidates stated their demand at a press conference, held in Abuja on Tuesday.
At the same time, INEC has rejected the call for poll cancellation by the opposition parties.
