Ododo duly elected Kogi gov. — Appeal Court

The Court of Appeal on Thursday ruled that Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo was duly elected.

The court ruled on the appeal filed by Ododo’s challenger, Murtala Ajaka, of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Ajaka had alleged electoral fraud and certificate forgery against Ododo.

However, the appellate court disagreed, stating that Ajaka failed to prove his allegations against Ododo.
