Northern states, Osun lead Tinubu’s student loan for state institutions

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) says it will be extending the student loan scheme to 36 states-owned tertiary institutions.
TheCornet reports that the would-be beneficiaries comprise students from 14 northern state-owned institutions; Osun State (13), Imo (2); Lagos (2), and Ogun (1).
The scheme urged other state-own tertiary institutions to submit their students’ data likewise.
The 36 qualified tertiary institutions are listed below:
- Adamawa State University, Mubi
- Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri
- Borno State University
- Mohammet Lawan college of Agriculture, Borno State 5. Edo State University, Uzairue
- Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti
