Nigeria Police headquarters picks new spokesperson

The Nigerian Police Force Headquarters has named Olumuyiwa Adejobi as its new spokesperson. Adejobi, formerly the spokespersons of the Ogun Police Command, replaces Frank Mba.

The Police said Mba had been nominated for the Senior Executive Course at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.

Adejobi’s appointment was contained in a statement signed by Benjamin Hundeyin, an Admin Officer at the Force Public Relations department.

The new spokesman attended the University of Ibadan where he studied Archeology and Geography (Combined Honours).

He also holds a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same University. Adejobi was the PPRO in the Ogun State Command between 2008 and 2016.

He was also the PPRO Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, in 2016 and PPRO Lagos State Police Command between September 2020 and August 2021.
