Suspected ‘pedophile’ arrested in connection with friend’s daughter

A suspected pedophile, identified as Ernest Enemona Obetule, has been arrested in Lokoja, Kogi State in Nigeria.

According to Facebooker Offor Daniel Okpanachi, Obetule had lured the 14-year-old girl, who is a daughter of his deceased friend, to a hotel for his sexual pleasure.

He however did not succeed as the minor secretly recorded their conversation and leaked it to family members.

In the same post, Okpanachi stressed that both Obetule and the girl’s father were close before his death, and that suspect had wept implacably at his funeral.

Okpanachi added Obetule was found with a condom in his pocket during his arrest, while waiting for the minor’s arrival.
