Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and his ally, Samson Eletu (Sam Larry) are among those summoned to testify in the ongoing Coroner’s inquest into the death of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka, Mohbad.

Others are Mohbad’s sister-in-law, Karimot Ogunbayo; Boluwatife Adeyemo aka Darosha and Mohbad’s lawyer, Oluwasanmi Falade.

The Coroner, Magistrate T.A Sotobi, had granted the request of Mr Wahab Shittu SAN, who is leading a team of lawyers representing the late singer’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba.

Sotobi directed Aloba’s lawyers to publish the summons through substituted services by publishing it in the national dailies.

The magistrate equally reinvited Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi Aloba, based on the request of the late singer’s friend, Ibrahim Owodunni (Primeboy).

The police had named Owodunni as a suspect, after which he was detained and questioned over his alleged involvement in Mohbad’s death. According to Owodunni’s lawyer, the singer’s widow and the police have some questions to answer.

The witnesses are expected to appear at the next hearing.
