LP national chairman Julius Abure suspended again

The Labour Party in Ward 3 in Arue-Uromi, in Esan North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, has suspended the party’s national chairman Julius Abure for anti-party activities and high-handedness.

The state executive of the party has ratified the suspension, done on March 14.

The action is coming a few days after the party’s presidential candidate in 2023, Peter Obi, declared support for Abure and urged unity in the party.

The Edo chapter of the party has advised Abure to stop parading himself as the national chairman.
