Tinubu picks Abass Balarabe as minister

President Bola Tinubu has nominated Abass Balarabe for a ministerial role. The President on Tuesday transmitted his decision to the Senate, urging it to confirm Abass.

Abass, who is from Kaduna, will replace former governor Nasir El-Rufai.

The Senate had failed to confirm El-Rufai, citing some petitions written against him.
