Lagos female kidnapper nabbed with three children

A suspected kidnapper Halima Akintola, 40, has been arrested by the Lagos state police command. Halima and two others are said to have attempted to kidnap three pupils from their school, located at Ijegun, a suburb of Lagos.

Halima had gone on the operation along with two accomplices, both of who escaped on a motorcycle upon sighting the police.

“The culprits were given a hot chase and the three pre-nursery children were rescued,” according to the command’s spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin.  The police gave the details of the victims as Sofiat, 4 years old; Israel, 5 years old and Mustapha, 6 years old.
