President Tinubu reshuffles ministerial portfolios

President Bola Tinubu has reshuffled ministers and their portfolios, the state house said in a release on Sunday.

Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, in the release said that President Tinubu reassigned Abubakar Momoh to ministry of Niger Delta development. He was initially assigned to handle the ministry of youths. Equally, Adegboyega Oyetola, initially deployed to the ministry of transportation, is now the minister of marine and blue economy. His counterpart, Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, moved from the marine and blue economy, is now the minister to handle the interior ministry.

Similarly, President Tinubu moved Sa’idu Alkali from the origninally ministry of interior to the ministry of transportation.

Ekperipe Ekpo, who was named as minister of state, gas petroleum, is now minister of state (gas), petroleum resources. Also, Heineken Lokpobiri, previously appointed as minister of state, petroleum resources, is the minister of state (oil), petroleum resources.

The President also renamed the federal ministry of environment and ecological management as the federal ministry of environment.
