Kyari leads APC NWC meeting, Adamu out
Abubakar Kyari, deputy national chairman (north) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is presently leading a meeting of the party’s national working committee (NWC) in Abuja. Security operatives have cordoned off area leading to the secretariat.
This follows the rumoured resignation of the party’s national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu. But, there is not any official confirmation of his resignation from the party leadership.
Equally, Iyiola Omisore, the national secretary of the party, was reportedly shut out of the meeting. Those in attendance are Emma Enukwu, deputy national chairman (south); Isaac Kekemeke, vice-chairman south-west; Salihu Lukman, vice-chairman north-west; and Festus Fuanter, deputy national legal secretary; are among those attending the meeting at the party’s headquarters on Monday.
