Kamala Harris makes history with ever held largest Zoom meeting

US presidential frontrunner Kamala Harris has made history by holding the largest Zoom meeting ever recorded in history. No fewer than 164,000 White women attended the virtual call aimed at shoring up support for Vice President Harris in the presidential race.
A similar event mobilizing Black women held earlier in the week, recording the same large number of attendees.
As per Guardian report, nearly $2m was raised for Harris in less than two hours of the call. The tens of thousands of those who couldn’t access that call because it was at capacity streamed it through other platforms such as Twitch, Clubhouse and YouTube.
A ‘Win With Black Men’ call also inspired by the call with Black women raised more than $1.3m to support Harris from more than 17,000 donors on Monday, the report said.
Harris is facing off with Republican presidential candidaye Donald Trump. She entered the presidential fray after President Joe Biden dropped out and endorsed her to be the Democratic Party’s standard-bearer.
