Joe Igbokwe speaks on the burning of his house
Joe Igbokwe, the special adviser on drainage and water resources to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reacted to the burning of his Nnewi, Anambra residence.
The All Progressives Congress, (APC) informed the public of the incident through his Faacebook page on Sunday.
In his reaction, Igbokwe defiantly vowed, We must take Igboland back from killers and arsonists”
“By the grace of god we will rescue Igboland.
“It is my turn today tomorrow it may be the turn of anybody,” he said.
In his earlier statement, Igbokwe blamed the outlawed Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, (IPOB) for the arson.
“IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. Iam sure they raised down the my house giving the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory . Iam still alive,” he said in his earlier reaction posted to Facebook.
Beside Igbokwe’s residence, the arsonists also set ablaze the offices of the Department of State Service, DSS) and the Federal Road Safety Commission, (FRSC) in the area.
