I’m ‘energized’ by my successful southwest tour – Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, a former governor, says he is “truly energized” due to the “resounding success” of his tour of southwest states for his presidential ambition.

Tinubu rounded up his consultations with his visit to traditional rulers in the three senatorial districts of Ondo State.

“I conclude this round of consultations as part of my Greater South West Tour

“I am truly energised with the show of love, support, and Thank you to everyone who made these visits the resounding success that it has been,” Tinubu tweeted.

The presidential hopeful on Friday visited the Deji of Akure , the Olugbo of Ugbo Oba Fedrick Akinrutan, and Afenifere leader Reuben Fasonroti, where he sought their prayer and support for his ambition.

While at the palace of the Deji of Akure, Tinubu said he had helped many people in the country to achieve their political goals. Among them, he said, is former governors of Osun, and Ondo States, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Dr Olusegun Mimiko respectively.

He also mentioned how he helped Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, and incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari to get to political positions.

“I helped Mimiko got his mandate through court after two years that he was elected. I helped Fayemi get his mandate after three years.

“It took  Aregbesola three years, 10 months, to get his mandate. We have helped many people like that,” he said.
