Guinness world records declares Hilda Baci’s cooking feat

Guinness World Records has proclaimed a Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, the new record holder for the longest cooking by an individual.

The celebrity chef recently staged the challenge during which she cooked for 93 hours 11 minutes. In a statement it issued on Tuesday, the GWR said, “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”

Baci, 26, began her record-breaking feat from 11 May through to Monday 15 May, cooking over 100 pots of food.
