Fiery internet crusader VeryDarkMan remanded for cyberbullying
A Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded internet crusader, Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan.
The Nigeria Police is prosecuting Otse for cyberbullying two actors, namely Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dike.
Otse pleaded not guilty when the plea was read to him on Wednesday.
Otse’s lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, had asked the court for a bail for his client. In respond to Adeyanju’s request, the prosecution asked for more time to respond to the application.

The development forced the court to adjourn till Wednesday for hearing of the bail application.
Otse climbed to fame for championing consumer protection. He had criticised specific body cream for not meeting approved standards.
As his popularity rose, Otse morphed into a public critic, offering his opinions on controversial trending issues. Otse’s criticisms have seen locked horns with some celebrities, including Nkechi Blessing and famous radio presenter Ifedayo Olarinde (a.k.a Daddy freeze).
