Father denies raping own child, daughter insists
A father and her daughter have given different accounts on alleged rape incident. Temitope Ewuoso, 16, claimed her father, Kayode, raped her but the latter denied it. The underage added her father started sleeping with her after he divorced her mother.
Kayode however said his daughter cooked up the allegation because he reprimanded her of her promiscuous lifestyle.
“She is lying. She is using this as a ploy to cover up her promiscuity, which I scolded her for,” the father allegedly told police investigators.
Speaking on the matter, Omolola Odutola, spokesperson for the Ogun police command, Kayode had been arrested.

“We have begun a preliminary investigation into the allegation. Both parties will be taken to the State CID for discreet investigation,” Odutola said.
