Death of Lagos student stirs rage, teacher accused

The death of David Babadipo, who until his passing was a student of the Araromi Ilogbo Secondary School, Oko Afo, Lagos, has stirred controversy.

There are opposing accounts on what led to David’s death.

While one report has that a teacher flogged him to death, another claimed David merely succumbed to his illness.

A video posted to micro-blogging platform X showed pandemonium at the school following the sudden demise of the 16-year-old David.

The incident reportedly took place last Thursday.

However, there has not been any official reaction from the Lagos ministry of education on the incident.
