Ekiti poll: Segun Oni expected to win – Campaign organisation
The Segun Oni Campaign Organisation has said it is confident the former governor will win the Saturday governorship election holding across the state.
Oni is the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate. The campaign team also debunked the rumour that Oni had withdrawn from the race.
Moses Jolayemi, spokesperson for the campaign, avowed that “Oni will win the governorship poll”.
He described the circulating letter of Oni’s said withdrawal as the ‘last phase of madness’ while he urged the electorate to disregard it.
“I am debunking the statement as madness. This is the last phase of their madness. I am urging the people of the state to go out enmass and vote for Segun Oni.
“If it is the will of God, Oni will win the election today. Our people should disregard the statement as the handiwork of mad people,” Jolayemi said.
