Saudi Arabia-bound Cocaine hidden in Islamic books, body cream seized

A Lagos-based courier firm has failed in his attempt to smuggle 20 parcels of cocaine hidden in Islamic religious books to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In addition, NDLEA operatives “intercepted 46 wraps of cocaine weighing 547grams”, hidden in body cream. The agency seized the Middle East-bound consignment on April 23 in Lagos.

On the same day, NDLEA intercepted 1.8kg pentazocine injection and 60grams bromazepam tablets heading to Canada.
