Breaking: EFCC takes El-Rufai into custody

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has admitted an opposition politician, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai into its facility for questioning. The former Kaduna governor, El-Rufai, arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja around 10:34 a.m, according to information posted to X by his media aide, Muyiwa Adekeye.

“Malam Nasir @elrufai has arrived at the EFCC headquarters to honour the agency’s invitation,” Adekeye writes.
