Court grants Atiku, Obi’s requests about Tinubu

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has granted the requests by the flag bearers of the Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party, and the Allied Peoples Movement to serve court processes on president-elect Bola Tinubu through the All Progressives Congress.

In APM’s case, the court granted that leave of service should be extended to Kabiru Masari equally through the APC.

Atiku, Obi, and the APM are challenging the election victory of Bola Tinubu, whom INEC declared as the winner of the February 25 presidential race.

Kabiru, the younger brother of incumbent Katsina state governor, Bello Masari, stood as a placeholder by the APC to beat INEC’s deadline for submission of candidates’ names.

He would later be replaced with Kashim Shettima as running mate to the  candidate— but now president-elect Bola Tinubu.
