Buhari receives Ghana’s Akufo-Addo

President Muhamamdu Buhari on Thursday received his Ghanaian counterpart, Nana Akufo-Addo in a private audience at the State House, Abuja.

The Gahnaian leader, who appeared in a black suit, white shirt and a red tie, arrived at the Presidential Villa around 14:35 GMT.

The two leaders immediately went into a closed door meeting and details were not made public.

The Cornet learned that the Ghanian President was in the country to attend the 20th anniversary of the commissioning of the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, held in Abuja.

Other dignitaries at the event, held in Abuja, included former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
