The All Progressives Congress, APC, has decided to split party executive positions between Governor Abdullahi Ganduje’s and Senator Ibrahim Shekaru’s groups in Kano.
The party chapter was one of the few the party’s national body did not inaugurate last week.
Daily Nigerian reports that the party held a meeting on Saturday and resolved to send a committee to implement its decision. Mai Mala Buni, the chairman of the
APC Caretaker and Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee, led the said meeting.
Sule Yau Sule, the spokesperson for Shekarau reportedly confirmed the development.
“A high -powered committee from the secretariat has to be constituted and dispatched to Kano to ensure strict compliance and implementation of the template to be given on Monday,” he said.
