Actor RMD laments ‘fuel scarcity, non-existent electricity’ in Nigeria

Renowned actor Richard Mofe Damijo has lamented the likely frustration owners of small businesses in the country are currently experiencing.

The African Movie Academy Award winner expressed his thought on Instagram.

“These past couple of days have been draining. In between the scarcity of fuel, hike in diesel price and almost non-existent power supply

“I can’t help but feel so sorry for small businesses who can barely survive and need these basic necessities to thrive.” the 61-year-old actor said.

Nigeria has in recent times witnessed scarcity of petrol, resulting in long queues at filling stations and cut-throat price hike by black market sellers.

The country also suffers epileptic power supply with recent tariffs rise by power distribution companies.
