Three die in autocrashÂ

A crash involving two commuter buses at Shasha Market, along the Akure-Owo highway, has claimed three lives and injured 12 passengers.

The crash reportedly occurred at about 5:50am.

The fatal collision involved an Ash colour Toyota Sienna bus, marked, LND778YG and an Ash colour hummer bus, with registered number KTN 298 YJ.

Ezekiel SonAllah, the Ondo State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), said that the dead are being kept in the mortuary while the injured are receiving treatment at a government hospital.

He cautioned against night travel. “Drivers are strongly advised to avoid speeding above the specified speed limit. All vehicle owners, especially commercial drivers must install a speed limit device.
